In this super fun, one-time or weekly Private 1:1 class, your learner will follow along with me to practice traditional animation techniques in the Procreate app for iPad!

In this class, we will practice both frame-by-frame and stop motion style animation, and your learner should feel free to let me know if there’s a specific skill they would like to work on.

When possible, we will work on a project addressing that skill, learning a new one, or refining / modifying a previous project (always by using safe editing techniques). I will share an overhead view of the project in process, and will also have Screen Share options available, as needed.

Please Note: Traditional 2D, or frame-by-frame, Animation can be a slow process. We may do Key Frames or Pose-to-Pose, and either way your learner should be prepared to make many drawings to create the action of the animation.

Your learner does not need any prior experience with the Procreate app to take this class, though basic drawing skills and knowledge of the app will help them in their learning process. However, I am happy to help them start by creating simple animations, then work their way up to more complex projects!

💙 Procreate app for iPad ($12.99 in App Store; already downloaded and installed)
💙 Stylus (Apple Pencil = best; also fully charged)
💙 Separate device for joining the Zoom call (best).

Procreate is only available on iPad.
